Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To ensure smooth operations within the engineering organization, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will manage development cycles, prioritize tasks, and support engineers while maintaining accountability and follow-through on projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and track development cycles, ensuring clarity and visibility throughout
• Own the inbound queue for bugs and customer requests, triaging and assigning tasks effectively
• Conduct regular 1:1s with engineers, providing coaching, mentorship, and support during the hiring process

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Solid experience with Kubernetes and familiarity with Go programming language
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in GitHub operations
• Technical depth to understand engineering work and provide meaningful feedback
• Experience with various software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
