Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers in a remote environment, the full-time Engineering Manager will oversee technical direction, guide architectural decisions, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products for an eCommerce marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, focusing on their technical growth and career development
• Establish technical direction and ensure sound architectural and software design decisions are made by the team
• Collaborate with Product Management to define roadmaps and translate business objectives into clear technical strategies

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex technical initiatives
• Strong technical judgment in architecture, system design, and implementation decisions
• Experience with modern full-stack application development, including JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems
• Proven ability to develop engineers across multiple career stages and foster a culture of technical excellence
• Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and modern delivery practices, including AWS and Kubernetes
