Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To manage the delivery of complex software solutions, the full-time Engineering Manager will oversee a team of engineers, ensuring quality and efficiency in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of solutions to complex technical and organizational problems
• Establish and maintain effective squad processes, ensuring quality solutions and removing impediments
• Track work progress and optimize team performance to deliver robust, agile code consistently

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 6 years of experience in software development using multiple methodologies
• Experience managing resources within budget constraints set by product management
• Proficiency in at least 2 programming languages such as Scala, C#/C++, JavaScript/React, SQL, Python, or Golang
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Hive Metastore and federated designs
