Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the newly formed Support & Stability team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will oversee critical application domains, implement measurement systems for risk management, and drive the use of AI for proactive support solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own stewardship of high-risk application domains, ensuring they are clean, tested, and maintainable
• Build measurement systems to identify and manage risks, focusing on root cause analysis over ticket volume
• Lead the triage of engineering support tickets and promote the use of AI agents in maintenance and support processes

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience, particularly in platform reliability or critical-domain code
• Experience in building proactive stability or support programs rather than reactive incident management
• Proven ability to distinguish between one-off issues and systemic problems, advocating for permanent fixes
• Comfortable negotiating scope and ownership boundaries with other teams
• Technical depth to review complex work and maintain hands-on involvement when necessary
