Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To lead a dynamic engineering team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will mentor engineers, provide technical oversight for service-oriented systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance post-purchase customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and mentor engineers, fostering career growth and development
• Provide technical guidance for scalable and maintainable software systems
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to define and execute the roadmap for claim servicing and fulfillment

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development with high-volume transactional systems
• 3+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role managing teams
• Deep understanding of service-oriented and microservice architectures
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, preferably on AWS
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams
