Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To support the scaling of development operations, the full-time Engineering Manager will manage a team of cross-functional engineers, collaborate with Product on enhancements, and foster an empowering environment for technical growth while working remotely or onsite in New York City.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers across backend and frontend platforms, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity
• Work closely with Product to prioritize and plan product enhancements that deliver value to fans and enterprise customers
• Guide the team in improving engineering best practices and provide career development support through regular feedback and one-on-ones

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager leading productive teams
• 5+ years of engineering experience with a focus on writing code
• Strong technical foundation and understanding of the technology industry for effective decision-making
• Product-minded engineering experience, particularly with consumer and enterprise products
• Experience in the sports technology industry is preferred, but not required
