Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a cross-functional team of backend and iOS engineers, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will drive subscription growth initiatives and enhance the payments platform by collaborating closely with Product and Design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Design to explore growth solutions using qualitative and quantitative tools across mobile and web apps
• Ensure strong technical decision-making and maintain a healthy backlog while scheduling maintenance and tech debt work
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on individual and team health

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams in partnership with Product and Design, emphasizing customer outcomes
• Strong analytical skills with experience in A/B testing and data attribution challenges, particularly in a growth context
• Experience with high-volume third-party integrations, ideally in a subscription domain
• Proven track record in developing consumer-facing applications using agile methodologies
• Ability to frame engineering investments as business outcomes and participate in cross-functional planning
