Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Engineering Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team within the Mailgun Optimize group, focusing on products such as Email Validation and Reputation Monitoring, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Leads, mentors, and grows an engineering team through regular coaching and career development conversations
• Owns hiring, onboarding, and performance management to cultivate an inclusive team culture
• Guides design and architecture decisions to align with business requirements and product vision

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of engineering management or tech lead experience with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
• Experience working in an Agile environment with CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and scalable distributed systems
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
