Job Summary

Leading a product area end-to-end, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will oversee team commitments and software production while ensuring code quality and mentoring engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage team ceremonies and commitments, ensuring clear ownership and high-quality deliverables
• Set and maintain code quality standards through hands-on code reviews and collaboration with the Group Architect
• Support and develop engineers through regular one-on-ones, coaching, and performance feedback

Required qualifications

• Exceptional communication skills that enhance team efficiency and clarity in status updates
• Proven experience in making team delivery trustworthy with measurable improvements in predictability
• Experience managing senior engineers and retaining talent through challenging transitions
• Technical depth from prior hands-on software development experience to identify potential issues early
• Minimum of two years as a front-line engineering manager with a concrete track record of team management
