Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a dynamic engineering team, the full-time Head of Engineering will manage daily operations, prioritize projects, and contribute to the codebase while fostering a collaborative environment in a hybrid work setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the engineering team's daily operations, ensuring timely delivery across approximately 40 services
• Motivate and mentor team members while supporting hiring and structuring workflows as the team expands
• Drive AI adoption and project prioritization, translating requests from various departments into actionable plans

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as an engineering manager or similar leadership role
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP/Symfony and relational databases like MySQL
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while managing project priorities effectively
• Experience with modern infrastructure practices such as Kubernetes and containerization
• Comfortable collaborating with non-technical stakeholders and communicating project trade-offs
