Job Summary

To build and lead a small founding team of engineers and data scientists, the full-time Engineering Manager will oversee high-throughput services, ensure production quality, and leverage AI to enhance team performance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage team outcomes, ensuring delivery and production health while fostering professional growth
• Set technical and cultural direction, making decisions that unblock progress and maintain high hiring standards
• Develop clarity and plans for undefined paths, taking accountability for product performance post-launch

Required qualifications

• 8-10+ years of engineering experience, including leadership of teams that have shipped production systems
• Proven AI-native leadership with the ability to leverage AI effectively within the team
• Strong technical background in systems and machine learning to guide decision-making and review work
• Demonstrated success in hiring and developing high-performing engineers and data scientists
• Capability to manage delivery of complex, high-stakes projects without compromising quality
