Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a small engineering team in a fully remote capacity, the salaried Onsemble Engineering Manager will drive product development for a contractor-facing platform, ensuring execution and technical direction while fostering team growth and leveraging AI-assisted software development.
Key responsibilities
- Hire, manage, mentor, and develop engineering team members while setting performance expectations and conducting evaluations
- Own the delivery of key product initiatives from discovery through launch, partnering with Product for effective scoping and sequencing
- Set the technical direction for AI-driven development, guiding architecture and technical decisions across frontend and backend systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years of professional software engineering experience
- 1 or more years in a technical leadership or engineering management role
- Strong background in AI-assisted software development and familiarity with React/Node.js ecosystems
- Experience with shipping production software and making architectural decisions
