Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Modernizing and directing engineering efforts for the Transactions/Payments domain, the full-time salaried Engineering Manager will oversee the development of transaction-enabling APIs, contribute to product strategy, and manage technology solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams, with the option to telecommute from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Direct engineering initiatives to deliver payment-centric solutions and define product roadmaps
• Guide technical estimations and manage product budgets throughout the design and development cycle
• Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing engineering teams while implementing product OKRs and departmental metrics

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 8 years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 3 years managing teams with a proven track record in cross-functional product delivery
• 5 years of experience in RESTful services design, API development, and Java/J2EE design patterns
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and building CI/CD pipelines
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in delivering projects across multiple release cycles
