Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager, this full-time remote position will drive frontend and backend excellence in account management and identity services while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet evolving customer needs.
Key responsibilities
- Architect backend systems using modern design patterns and technologies while ensuring reliability for customers and engineers
- Drive a technical roadmap in partnership with Product, Security, UX, and Design teams, focused on customer-centric solutions
- Hire, coach, and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a solid foundation as an individual contributor
- 3+ years of direct people management experience, including mentoring engineers and leading teams
- Proven track record of launching and operating full stack, production-scale projects with stringent SLOs
- Deep knowledge of identity access management and developer-focused security products
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or a similar language for code review and technical discussions
