Job Summary

Leading the development of a new Data team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will oversee data architecture, manage hiring processes, and ensure data quality and reliability across platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow the Data team by leading hiring efforts and shaping team identity and standards
• Own the Data Charter and Roadmap, managing data models, ETL pipelines, and analytics
• Drive data architecture and engineering excellence, ensuring the data layer is accurate and reliable

Required qualifications

• Experience managing engineering teams focused on data platforms or high-scale backend systems
• Strong hiring instincts with the ability to source and onboard skilled engineers
• Technical expertise in PostgreSQL, OLAP systems, CDC, event streaming, or CRM data modeling
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and establish new processes
• Proactive and outcomes-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
