Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers in a remote capacity, the full-time Engineering Manager will oversee the development of scalable solutions for the e-commerce platform, focusing on international expansion and enhancing customer experience through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor software engineers in designing and implementing high-quality software solutions
• Drive engineering efforts focused on scalability and user experience for international capabilities
• Collaborate with product management and machine learning teams to align engineering activities with company objectives

Required qualifications

• Proven experience managing and scaling distributed, public cloud-native systems
• Hands-on collaboration experience with machine learning teams
• Strong understanding of relational database systems, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of mentoring engineers
• Solid system design fundamentals and people-management experience
