Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will oversee the development of critical services for the AgentControl product, focusing on offline evaluations and AI integrations while fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing coaching and career growth opportunities
- Partner with Product Management and Design to scope and sequence roadmap items, making real-time scope tradeoffs
- Own the delivery of features, ensuring completion within timelines and quality standards
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, including 2 years in a management role for backend or infrastructure engineers
- Proven ability to translate business goals into engineering plans with reliable estimations
- Strong experience in coaching and developing engineers, including performance management and technical mentorship
- Familiarity with observability practices and production incident response
- Experience with Go and Python or comparable backend languages is a plus
