Job Summary

Leading a small team of engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager will drive execution by translating product vision into actionable tasks, foster team growth through effective people leadership, and enhance process delivery while maintaining technical awareness in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive execution by translating product vision into day-to-day clarity and removing blockers for the team
• Coach and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, psychological safety, and continuous improvement
• Align sprint work to goals, clarify scope, and use metrics to guide process improvements and delivery plans

Required Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience as a manager in a startup or scale-up environment with high-scale systems
• Strong technical background with an understanding of when to engage versus step back
• Experience mentoring engineers and shaping team dynamics
• Ability to communicate calmly and thoughtfully in ambiguous or high-pressure situations
• Aptitude for navigating messy, complex systems and finding clarity through structure and empathy
