Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Engineering Manager, this remote position will manage and mentor a team of engineers while leading architectural decisions and remaining hands-on in coding and development of scalable, secure systems.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, conducting regular 1:1s and setting career development plans
- Lead the architecture and implementation of critical features while writing clean, scalable, and well-tested code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years managing a team of 3+ engineers
- Strong understanding of design patterns, architectural thinking, and experience with domain-driven design or microservices
- Recent experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL
- Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Enthusiasm for AI in software engineering and a proven track record of shipping scalable, secure applications
