Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a talented engineering team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will oversee the development and implementation of the Transfer Explorer platform, ensuring a high-quality user experience while managing vendor relationships and contributing to project leadership initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a growing team of engineers, setting goals and overseeing performance management
• Provide technical leadership to ensure the platform features scalable data processing and an excellent user experience
• Oversee vendor relationships and collaborate with project leadership to enhance Transfer Explorer's community presence

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in developing and managing web-based software applications, including cloud computing environments
• 3+ years of experience managing and developing software engineers
• Proven ability to create innovative and feasible technology-driven solutions
• Experience scaling solutions from prototypes to sustainable infrastructure
• Familiarity with agile development approaches, including lean-startup and design-thinking methods
