Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a small, senior team in a remote environment, the full-time Engineering Manager will own delivery and technical execution for an AI-driven threat and risk management platform, while actively contributing to the codebase and ensuring high engineering quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery and technical execution against the phased plan, managing scope, sequencing, and release readiness
• Contribute directly to the codebase, focusing on foundational components and maintaining engineering quality standards
• Recruit, onboard, and develop a distributed team of engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software or data engineering experience, including 2+ years in a management role
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with recent contributions to production systems
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms, particularly Databricks and Azure
• Strong Python and SQL skills, with the ability to read, review, and write production code
• Proven ability to manage phased delivery plans and communicate effectively with executives
