Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a newly formed team in the Playlist platform organization, the full-time salaried Engineering Manager will ensure the development of a scalable foundation to meet customer needs while coaching the engineering team and participating in strategic product decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Coach and empower the engineering team to achieve high technical quality and business impact
- Make critical architectural decisions balancing speed, quality, and long-term flexibility
- Collaborate with Product and other Engineering teams to design and deliver robust standard solutions across various verticals
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of direct management experience with an engineering team of at least 6 members
- Proven track record in designing and building production cloud platforms (AWS) at scale
- Strong grounding in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in establishing technical vision and driving measurable outcomes
