Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Engineering Manager, this role will lead and mentor a team of engineers, make critical architectural decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality feature delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineering team members, overseeing their technical output and career development
- Make informed architectural decisions and support the team in clarifying requirements and resolving blockers
- Drive continuous improvement by measuring team performance against KPIs and managing the delivery health tracking cycle
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience leading engineering teams within SaaS software companies
- Demonstrated ability to develop talent and retain high performers
- Working knowledge of technologies such as Elixir, React, React Native, or AWS
- Experience with Agile or Kanban/Lean methodologies and improving team velocity and quality
- Strong communication skills with experience advocating for engineering needs to non-technical stakeholders
