Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Engineering Manager for the Communications & Documents team, who will manage and contribute to projects, coach a team of engineers, and write code in a remote environment while driving major initiatives and fostering collaboration across teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and contribute to upcoming projects while coordinating large initiatives
- Coach and mentor a team of engineers, promoting their ongoing success
- Collaborate with development teams and product management to solve cross-domain challenges
Required qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field
- 7+ years of full-stack web development experience, including API design and relational databases
- 2+ years of experience in an engineering manager, team lead, or lead developer role
- Prior experience with back-end languages, preferably Ruby on Rails, and front-end frameworks
- Understanding of scalability challenges and performance of server-side code
