Job Summary
Leading the Gamification team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager will manage a group of engineers to enhance member engagement and retention through the development of innovative features and capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Determine necessary tech investments for system health and long-term success
- Collaborate with engineers to plan, sequence, and deliver measurable success
- Hire and coach a high-performing team while maintaining a visible delivery cadence
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience managing a team of five or more engineers and testers
- Strong understanding of distributed backend systems and user-facing features, particularly in gamification
- Proven experience in building and shipping mission-critical B2C systems
- Solid technical fluency to engage effectively in engineering discussions
- Experience driving incidents and post-mortems to resolution
