Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Billing team in a full-time remote capacity, the Engineering Manager will oversee the development of monetization and revenue systems, ensuring accurate customer charges and finance-ready data while fostering a high-trust team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a healthy team culture through performance management, coaching, and career development
• Own the Billing roadmap and project management, ensuring accountability and predictable delivery of projects
• Act as Hiring Manager to source, interview, and onboard new team members with the right mix of billing-domain expertise and engineering judgment

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience, with a strong background in complex systems
• 3+ years of experience managing remote engineering teams, particularly in billing at a cloud or SaaS company
• Proven track record in performance management and navigating difficult conversations
• Experience with subscription lifecycle, usage-based billing, and payment integrations
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a remote, asynchronous environment
