Engineering Manager, AI
Job Summary
Leading the AI Transformation engineering team, the full-time Engineering Manager, AI will oversee the delivery, quality, and operational health of AI solutions while coaching and scaling the team in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the AI Transformation engineering team, focusing on hiring and performance management
- Own the architecture, delivery, and reliability of AI solutions, setting engineering standards for security and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering delivery with business outcomes and manage technical debt
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in technical leadership or management roles
- Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-based or agentic AI products
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and modern CI/CD practices
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python
- Experience in a regulated environment, such as fintech or payments, is a plus
