Job Summary
Leading a small team of product and data engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager, AI Products will own the roadmap for Float Intelligence, driving the development of AI solutions that enhance financial operations for Canadian businesses in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Leading, growing, and developing a team of product engineers and data/ML engineers
- Owning the roadmap for AI experiences and proposing new initiatives alongside the Head of Product
- Taking AI products from concept to customer-facing solutions, ensuring technical decisions align with business goals
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in software engineering, with experience at a company known for its strong engineering culture
- 2+ years of experience managing engineers, preferably across diverse specialties
- Hands-on experience building and shipping AI or LLM-backed products to real users
- Proven track record of developing products from zero to one, ideally as a founder or early engineer
- Strong product instincts with the ability to own a roadmap and make strategic decisions on development priorities
