Engineering Manager, Checkout

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Checkout (Booking & Pricing).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organizational and technical direction of the Checkout team, aligning work with broader company initiatives
• Build and mentor a robust team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical quality and providing regular feedback
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and communicate a clear vision and execution framework for the team

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering management experience and 8+ years of relevant software development experience
• Proven track record of growing engineers through promotions and meaningful scope expansions
• Experience operating large-scale, mission-critical production systems
• Passion for building intuitive products while maintaining high technical quality
• Expertise in building and operating transactional systems or high-availability APIs is preferred
