Engineering Manager, Cloud Platform

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager, Cloud Platform will oversee AWS cloud foundations and Kubernetes platform management, ensuring infrastructure scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers while managing performance and fostering a productive work environment
• Own AWS cloud foundations and serve as the team's technical owner, focusing on compute, networking, and core services
• Set and communicate technical priorities, balancing reliability, security, cost, and delivery against departmental objectives

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a cloud platform or infrastructure-focused organization
• Proven track record of managing Kubernetes at scale in production environments
• Strong familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, including compute, networking, and IAM/identity services
• Experience in leading and coaching engineers, with a focus on talent growth and retention
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and GitOps practices, such as Terraform and Helm
