Engineering Manager, Cloud Platform

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers in a full-time capacity, the Engineering Manager, Cloud Platform will oversee AWS cloud foundations and Kubernetes platform management while ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers, managing performance and fostering a productive work environment
• Own AWS cloud foundations and serve as the technical owner for core services, ensuring reliability and security
• Drive cloud cost management by establishing tagging, reporting practices, and recommending cost strategies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a cloud platform or infrastructure-focused organization
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes at scale in production environments
• Strong familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, including compute, networking, and core services
• Experience in leading and coaching engineers with a focus on talent development
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and GitOps practices, such as Terraform and Helm
