Job Summary

Leading a talented team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Data Engineering will oversee the development of critical data services and infrastructure remotely, focusing on analyzing blockchain transaction activity at petabyte scale.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and performance of data services
• Drive the development of ETL pipelines and data models to support real-time processing and optimal data retrieval
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and prioritize engineering objectives while resolving operational escalations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in building distributed system architecture
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or SparkSQL
• Experience with data stores and processing technologies such as ClickHouse, Spark, and Kafka
• Familiarity with deployment and monitoring tools in public cloud environments like Docker and Kubernetes
