Engineering Manager, Data Engineering

Job Summary

Driving the Data Engineering team's people, projects, and processes forward, the full-time remote Engineering Manager, Data Engineering will provide technical leadership, mentor data engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the organization's data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and mentor a diverse group of data engineers
• Partner with engineering leadership to guide data architecture and platform evolution
• Align data solutions with business objectives by collaborating with data science and product teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, including 3+ years in engineering management
• Deep experience with data infrastructure components and scalable data platforms
• Proficiency in Python or similar languages, with strong SQL skills
• Experience with Google Cloud data technologies or similar cloud platforms
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers while balancing growth with business needs
