Job Summary
Leading a talented team of engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager, Data Labeling will design and build a next-generation data annotation platform, focusing on operational efficiency and collaboration with stakeholders in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain high technical standards while guiding software design and occasionally engaging in hands-on Python programming
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team while fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability
- Align engineering roadmaps with stakeholders, serving as a strategic partner to VPs and Research Leaders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years as a technical lead or engineering manager
- Strong background in software engineering, data engineering, or AI application engineering with expertise in Python
- Proven experience with data pipelines, distributed systems, and integrating machine learning models into production workflows
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers, with strong stakeholder management skills
