Engineering Manager, Data Science

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing data science team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Data Science will drive machine learning initiatives and advanced analytics in the AdTech sector, focusing on ROAS optimization and deep learning capabilities, while working remotely with occasional travel to NYC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the transition to advanced Neural Network architectures for audience modeling and segmentation
• Own and evolve bidding strategies to maximize client returns through sophisticated ROAS-based optimization
• Establish MLOps practices for model versioning and drift detection, optimizing for business outcomes

Required qualifications

• PhD or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 8+ years of experience in Data Science or ML Engineering, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Expertise in modern deep learning architectures and real-time inference engineering
• Strong Python skills with experience in Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
• Proven ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights
