Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Data Services to lead a team focused on deploying and maintaining a cloud-native platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers responsible for the deployment, operations, and scaling of various data platforms
• Oversee technologies including Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, and relational databases
• Ensure effective operations within large-scale, business-critical Linux environments and cloud platforms

Required Qualifications

• Proven ability to work effectively with local and remote teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience managing a distributed engineering team
• Solid understanding of cloud environments, preferably AWS
• Experience with large-scale data platforms and technologies
