Job Summary

Leading a talented team, the full-time remote Engineering Manager, Data Services will oversee data platform strategy, manage technical debt, and drive modernization efforts while ensuring data integrity and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Empower and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering career development and a strong engineering mindset
• Own the design and evolution of the Common Event Bus architecture for real-time data distribution
• Guide the transition from legacy frameworks to a modernized data stack, managing technical debt effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 7+ years of total experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
• Proven experience executing data platform migrations and managing technical debt
