Engineering Manager, Developer Experience

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Developer Experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of engineers focused on developer enablement through recruiting, mentoring, and skill development
• Drive the adoption of self-service infrastructure tools and documentation while managing and improving developer interactions with infrastructure technologies
• Design, build, and maintain tools and services that enhance the developer experience and plan the future of developer tooling

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or a related IT field
• 8+ years of experience as an engineer with professional leadership experience
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization technologies, and infrastructure/application stacks (AWS, Terraform, Golang)
• Experience in automating tasks and improving developer workflows through tooling and integrations
• Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies and a commitment to continuous improvement of developer workflows and tooling
