Engineering Manager, Developer Experience

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Developer Experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the long-term strategy for the Developer Experience team and ensure it adds value to the Engineering organization
• Lead the audit and consolidation of AI tools, overseeing the selection and implementation of a unified AI suite
• Establish engineering standards and governance models to maintain consistency and security across product teams

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams focused on internal tooling or developer productivity
• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, particularly with TypeScript/Node.js and monorepo architectures
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD platforms, and the AI-assisted engineering landscape
• Ability to translate developer pain points into a prioritized technical roadmap
• Strong focus on the developer as a customer, with a passion for building user-friendly internal products
