Engineering Manager, Developer Experience

Job Summary

To support the development of a new platform capability, the full-time remote Engineering Manager, Developer Experience will manage the delivery pipeline, developer platform, and test automation framework, while leading a small team and ensuring seamless integration of new and legacy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate CI/CD processes onto a single system to improve build and deploy times
• Oversee the development of a self-service developer platform and establish best practices for building, testing, and deploying services
• Transform the test automation framework to enable engineers to directly utilize it, while collaborating with SDETs and delivery teams

Required qualifications

• Proven experience leading a developer experience or platform engineering function with measurable outcomes
• Extensive knowledge of AWS and infrastructure-as-code, with the ability to redesign CI/CD systems
• Experience in transitioning testing responsibilities from QA to engineers, ensuring long-term adoption
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and its integration into engineering workflows
• Experience managing or leading a small engineering team while remaining hands-on with coding
