Engineering Manager, Developer Tooling

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time remote Engineering Manager, Developer Tooling will oversee the design, building, and operation of CI/CD pipelines, integrating AI capabilities into the developer workflow and ensuring a reliable path to production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team focused on CI/CD pipeline architecture and reliability
• Integrate AI tools into the development process, enhancing code review and testing workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve pipeline performance and implement best practices

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience with at least 2 years in a management role, preferably in DevOps or platform engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD systems like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Experience integrating AI tooling into development workflows
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native deployment models
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical leadership with team management responsibilities
