Engineering Manager, Developer Tooling

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers in a fully remote environment, the Engineering Manager, Developer Tooling will manage the design, building, and operation of CI/CD pipelines, set technical direction, and integrate AI capabilities into the developer workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team focused on CI/CD pipelines and tooling
• Own the architecture and reliability of CI/CD pipelines from source to production
• Integrate AI capabilities into the developer workflow and partner with teams to enhance adoption of AI coding assistants

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience with at least 2 years in a management role, preferably in DevOps or platform engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Experience integrating AI tools into development workflows
• Working knowledge of GitOps tooling and artifact management systems
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment models
