Engineering Manager, DevOps

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, DevOps to establish and lead a new DevOps/Platform Engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the DevOps/platform operating model, standards, and roadmap
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC templates, and developer self-service tools
• Define SLOs/SLIs and lead incident response and root cause analysis

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps, platform, or cloud engineering experience
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using common industry tools
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi)
• Strong background with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS/Fargate
