Engineering Manager, Firmware

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager for CPU Bootloader Firmware - SBIOS.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery and quality of CPU bootloader firmware across data center CPU platforms
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of firmware engineers focused on ARM bootloader and system bring-up
• Collaborate with CPU architecture teams and drive technical reviews to ensure production-ready solutions

Required Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of relevant firmware or systems software experience, including bootloader or embedded systems work
• 3+ years of engineering management experience with a track record of team development
• Solid foundation in C/C++ and knowledge of ARM architecture and bootloader concepts
• Demonstrated AI-forward mindset and experience supporting distributed teams
