Engineering Manager - Firmware Development

Job Summary

Leading a team in the development and sustainment of Board Support Packages (BSP) and low-level platform software, the full-time remote Engineering Manager - Firmware Development will oversee critical tech stack solutions, ensuring reliable hardware-software integration across embedded systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the development, integration, and sustainment of BSP and low-level platform software capabilities
• Drive foundational software delivery for scalable and high-performing embedded systems
• Align BSP strategy with platform roadmaps, enabling reuse across embedded products

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Five or more years of R&D experience involving software solutions
• Solid understanding of system-level architecture for embedded or edge computing platforms
• Experience with Linux, BSP development, and system integration
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex software solutions
