Engineering Manager, Frontend Development

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will oversee the design and implementation of an accessible React component library and design system, driving frontend and mobile development while ensuring accessibility standards are met in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
• Own the strategy and roadmap for the design system, ensuring it is the preferred foundation for product teams
• Drive the establishment of accessibility as a standard across web and mobile surfaces

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development experience
• 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
• Proven experience in building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
• Demonstrated history of creating polished, accessible consumer products on web and mobile
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
