Engineering Manager, Frontend Development

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will oversee the creation of an accessible React component library and design system, driving frontend and mobile development while ensuring a focus on accessibility in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers dedicated to design systems and accessible component libraries
• Own the strategy and roadmap for the design system, ensuring it serves as the foundation for product development across teams
• Establish and drive accessibility standards in product development for both web and mobile platforms

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong frontend technology skills (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development experience (iOS or Android)
• 2+ years of experience in leading and inspiring engineering teams
• Experience in building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
• Proven track record of developing polished, accessible consumer products on web and mobile
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
