Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team of frontend engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will oversee the development of a design system and accessible React component library, driving accessibility and enhancing frontend and mobile experiences in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy and roadmap for the design system, ensuring it supports feature development across product teams
- Drive accessibility initiatives and establish processes for consistent, measurable standards in product development
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS or Android)
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Proven track record of delivering polished, accessible consumer products on web and mobile platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
