Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will oversee the strategy and roadmap for Zocdoc's design system and accessible React component library, driving accessibility and enhancing frontend and mobile development in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy for the design system and ensure its adoption across product teams
- Establish and drive processes for accessibility in product development across web and mobile platforms
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong background in frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and mobile development
- 2+ years of experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams
- Experience in building or contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Proven track record of delivering accessible consumer products on web and mobile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
