Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Frontend Development will oversee the strategy and execution of Zocdoc's design system and accessible React component library, driving frontend and mobile development while ensuring accessibility standards across web and mobile platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers focused on design systems and accessible component libraries
- Own the strategy and roadmap for the design system and component library, ensuring widespread adoption across product teams
- Establish and drive accessibility processes for consistent and measurable product development across Zocdoc's platforms
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- 2+ years of experience leading and inspiring engineering teams
- Experience building or significantly contributing to a design system or shared component library
- Demonstrated experience in mobile development (iOS or Android) and building accessible consumer products
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
